Home is in the Colorado Rocky Mountains with Pepé the Chi-weinie and Lupe Lu the Chihuahua – plus 6 cats, 2 red squirrels, one mouse, and hundreds of birds. Hiking, skiing, and camping are her passions and fuel her inspiration as a writer. In the winter she can be found on the West Elk trails that she and her husband Tod manage in the White River National Forest. In the summer, she can rarely be found at all.

She began her career as an associate producer of educational films. Though to fund her writing habit, she has spent most of her adult life working as an editor for a variety of publications and websites, including Children’s Magic Window magazine, Writing-World.com, and Sisterhood Publications.

Peggy’s nonfiction dogoir, Crazy Bitch: Living with Canine Compulsive Disorder received the Kindle Award for Excellence in nonfiction. She is the author of PFC Liberty Stryker and Letters to Juniper, a Colorado Book Award Finalist.
